Before the start! Plenty of serious golfers made use of the practice green at Baraboo County Club, site of the 2008 National Convention Golf Outing. Held on Tuesday, June 24th and organized by club member Mike Snyder, it was a picture perfect Wisconsin summer day.

Baraboo Country Club was an elegant course with plenty of elevation changes and water running throughout. The course had experienced significant flooding only two weeks before the Convention and remnants of the damage - including washed out bridges - remained, but the staff had done a remarkable job getting the course in great condition again.

A well-deserved lunch after the outing for the large number of participating golfers.

The Winners! The All-Star Team of Hank Van Exel, Ken Elliott, Keith Stump and Gary Griffin.

2nd place (tied for 1st but lost the tiebreaker) - Norm Magnuson, Bud Stilling, Bob Stilling and Jack Turcott.

And the foursome that obviously does not spend their afternoons on the golf course…the team with the highest score and their special prize - Wheaties! Paul Buhr, Todd Stanek, Kathleen O’Keefe and Marty Kinyon.
