Yesterday was the Summer Event Sale hosted by Our-Favorite Holsteins, the Todd & Mary Stanek Family in Fall Creek, WI. But it was also Holstein World staffer Kathleen O’Keefe’s Birthday!! Kathleen was the reporter at the sale – a natural choice as she is a WI resident and good friends with many of the breeders in the state. And as it turns out, they are good friends with her too! Kathleen was treated to a birthday cake that said:

Happy Birthday All World Kathleen

It was decorated with, of course, Holstein cow figurines set amongst the green and sand trap of a golf course – one of Kathleen’s, and her Holstein friends, favorite past times. Melissa Hart of MI just happened to be around when the cake was presented and snapped a couple shots to share with us. Thanks, Melissa, and Happy Birthday Kathleen!!
