they bring home the banners from the Maryland Spring Show!

Another great Maryland family, the Ehrhardts of Baldwin, tied with Savage-Leigh Holsteins for the Premier Exhibitor banner.
The 39th Annual Maryland Holstein Spring Show

A 4-year-old entry, Savage-Leigh Lavish-ET from Savage Leigh Holsteins, Knoxville was awarded the grand champion title at the 39th Maryland Spring Holstein Show held at the Maryland State Fairgrounds on Saturday, April 11th. Winning her age division of 15 entries and taking the best bred and owned title, Lavish is a daughter of the famous Licorice cow and sired by Talent-Imp. Knob-View Farm, the Kepler Family of Middletown exhibited the reserve grand champion female, a junior 3-year old, Knob-View Zentih Delilah.
In the Junior division, the grand champion banner was presented to Jacob Freeman of Monkton for exhibiting his 5-year old, Pottsdale Encore Jolene. Aubrey Schwartzbeck, Peace & Plenty Farm, Union Bridge exhibited the reserve grand champion, an aged cow, P&P Linjet Linny. The best bred and owned Junior entry was a 4-year old cow, Pheasant Echo’s Durham Wendyl presented by Bud Stambaugh, Westminster.
A fall calf, Janney Atlas Maureen exhibited by Cody Stambaugh of Union Bridge won both open and youth junior champion honors. Chase Savage, Savage Leigh Holsteins, Knoxville exhibited the open reserve junior champion heifer, a winter calf, Savage-Leigh Gold Lona-ET 840. The reserve junior champion title of the junior division was awarded to a winter yearling, Hills Hope Twizz Roz exhibited by Aubrey Schwartzbeck, Union Bridge.
Savage Leigh Holsteins of Knoxville won the Premier Breeder banner and shared the Premier Exhibitor title with Ehrhardt Farms of Baldwin. Jeremy McDonald of Middletown, Va. judged the 155 open and 87 Junior entries that entered the ring.
