Leading the way as top seller was Lot 1 – Morningview Tstory Amaya-ET VG-86 2y, $75,000. That package includes embryo and female contracts totaling $55,000, bull contracts to Semex (2 $500,0000 cap leases), Alta (2 $15,000 max), Select ($7,000), CRI (1st Choice) and ABS (wants to talk to new owner) and 2 Socrates heifers.

Amaya’s dam has captured the 2nd high price for the day at $45,000 to ALH Genetics, Netherlands. She was Lot 4 – Morningview Oman Annette-ET VG-87 3y. Annette sold open and ready to flush. Her dam is Morningview Mtoto April VG-89 GMD DOM, then Gibbon Judy (VG-85 GMD DOM) and the namesake for today’s sale, Converse Judy EX-93 GMD DOM.

Beautiful summer day in Iowa for the Morningview Sale!

A large crowd stayed through the whole sale.

Darin Meyer of De-Su Holsteins – new owners of the day’s high seller, Morningview Tstory Amaya-ET – and Tom Schmitt of Morningview Holsteins.
The sale was managed by Burton Feller Sales, Inc. and the large crowd and many, many phone bids kept the large sale staff busy all day. The cattle were prepared by Kyle Knaup and Associates and the fitting crew kept the sale moving efficiently.
