New York State Fair Holstein Show Scenes
John Crowley of Hastings, Ontario, served as official judge of the 2009 New York State Fair Holstein Show, held Monday, August 31 in Syracuse. Following are scenes from the day!

Jeff Stephens leads the 2009 NY State Futurity winner, Ms Charos Duplex Carrie-ET, exhibited by Maple Downs Farms II & Craig Countryman, Middleburgh, NY.
The largest milking class of the day was the Sr. 2-year-old class, topped by Samantha Smithgall’s Gen-I-Beq Goldwyn Saby. She went on to be named Intermediate Champion.
Boiled-Owl Dundee Jenny not only won the 4-year-old, but Senior & Grand Champion honors as well. She is presented by Bob Morrell and exhibited by Brad Cates, Aaron Eaton and Lloyd & Denise Pease, Preble, NY.

Grand Champion of the Junior Show was Kyle Cacciola, Cobleskill, NY, with Highborn Stor Nor Lily 1547, a Sr. 2-year-old. He’s joined by Greg Lloyd with his Reserve Grand Champion, Rodonwa Frederick Hannah, a 4-year-old.
