Maryland State Fair Youth Show

TIMONIUM, Md. – MD-Carrollton James Ultra, a 4-year old Holstein exhibited by Patrick Brauning of Finksburg was named the supreme champion female of the Maryland State Fair Youth Show held September 6th and 7th at the Maryland State Fairgrounds. Jacob Freeman of Forest Hill presented the reserve grand champion animal, a 5-year old named Ladys-Manor Gibson Dame.
The junior champion female was a fall calf, Peace & Plenty Asteroid Rip exhibited by Austin Schwartzbeck of Union Bridge. The King Family of Kingstead Farms, Damascus presented him with a $5000 scholarship. This scholarship has been awarded to the junior champion female of the youth show by the King Family since 2004. Patrick Brauning also exhibited the reserve junior champion and best bred and owned junior heifer, a winter calf, Braunside Mr Burns Krista. The supreme best bred and owned animal was a Holstein junior 2-year old, Gillvale Icepack Trixie, exhibited by Margaret Gill of White Hall.

TIMONIUM, Md. – Kenny Stambaugh of Westminster exhibited the grand champion Red & White Holstein, Pheasant-Echos Temper-Red, a senior 3-year old. A senior 2-year old, Ri-Val-Re SS Cindy-Red exhibited by Hannah Thompson of Walkersville was named the reserve grand champion female.
Hannah also exhibited the junior champion heifer, a fall yearling, Glad-Ray K RL Riley-Red. Pintail Point Cattie-Red, a spring yearling exhibited by Patrick Youse of Ridgely was named the reserve junior champion heifer. Samantha Garst of New Windsor presented the best bred and owned Red & White, a summer yearling, Garstlyn Redl Riki-Red.
