Scenes from Louisville

The North American International Livestock Exposition in Louisville, KY is well  underway! The Junior shows took place Friday and Saturday with the selction of the Supreme Champions today. The judging contest took place this morning and the Jersey Jug Futurity is now in the ring. Here are some photos from the barn and the Junior show Supreme Champion selections!

Chupps’ Guernsey Farm string, which also includes Dix Lee Tiller Joke on the far left who is owned by Springhill Farm and was All-American Jr. 2-Year-Old a few years back before selling and being flushed extensively. Her daughter was Junior Champion of the Jr. Show Friday night!

The Grand Champion of the Jersey Jr. Show Lyon Duke Dutchy, owned by Ben Sauder of River Falley Farm in Tremont, IL.  Ben had Grand Champion of the Junior show in Madison, but with a different cow!

In the end it came down to the Holstein and Jersey, in fact there were several ties, but the judges finally agreed upon…..

    Thank you very much for the pictures. We got the phone call while we were starting afternoon chores. It’s still great to see it!! Congrats to Scott Walton. Tabago was created as an embryo at Jemi Jerseys while
    teal was still in partnership. It’s very exciting to watch the ET generation come on after
    Tower Vue Terror took the jersey world by storm a few years ago.
