It’s Parade time!

Wednesday, February 24th, 2010

An eye-opening event for two World girls!
Kathleen O’Keefe and I have been put on assignment this week to help get ready for Saturday’s Parade of Perfection Sale, and what a week it’s been so far. Working “behind the scenes” in preparing for a sale like this is not only interesting, but fast-paced and exciting. From organizing health papers, to reading ear tattoos….to calling for updates, running to the airport to pick up sales staff…to printing invoices and making supply runs…it’s all a part of making sure things go smoothly on Saturday. The Butlerview Parade of Perfection Sale events will begin on Friday, February 26th. From 4:00-8:00pm, there will be cattle viewing and a complimentary ribeye/fish fry dinner, followed by the 10:00am start of the Parade Sale on Saturday, February 27th, featuring some 150 lots. Sale updates will be posted this week on www.holsteinworld.com and you can also find the catalog online at http://www.holsteinworld.com/catalogs10/ParadeOfPerfection/.

We’ll keep posting pictures as the week goes on – but here are a few looks at some of the early work going into this week’s big event in Elkhorn, Wisconsin.
