We are so delighted to post a report from the Stars of Sahara Sale that was held today at Church Farm, Wilcrick, Magor, Monmouthshire, United Kingdom. Special thanks to Claire Swale for sharing this report and pictures with us!

The Sahara prefix is well known throughout Europe. Owned by Sheikha Noora Al-Khalifa of Bahrain and managed by David Jones and his family, recent years have seen them invest in World renowned pedigrees from all the breeds greatest cow families.

Since Sahara was founded just 5 years ago, they have enjoyed a meteoric rise to fame, having been successful at all the major UK shows. Every classified animal in the sale was scored either VG or Excellent, including all the 2 year olds and with such an attractive collection of pedigrees and the promise of exceptional type and show ring appeal, a large crowd gathered to enjoy the hospitality and facilities on offer.

The stage was set for the Stars of Sahara sale at Church Farm, Monmouthshire Wales, where 60 World-class pedigrees were catalogued for sale

Three full sisters by Goldwyn, all granddaughters of EK Oseeana Ambrosia EX-95. Out of Smiddiehill Toystory Ambrosia VG-87 2yr, all 3 heifers were genomically tested, with the highest having a GTPI +2015, GPTAT +3.57.

Due to calve any time to Sanchez, a class winner at this years’ National Holstein Show, and with a GTPI +2099. Sahara Goldwyn Regenia attracted a lot of interest.
