Holstein USA held its regional meeting on the afternoon of Jan. 20 at the NY Holstein Convention in Syracuse. Region 1 National Director Pete Waterman of Maine chaired the session which included introduction of new dairy management software, an update on the “dairy data alliance” and positive reports of 2011 Association activity and finance. Also discussed were elections for National Directors at the convention in June, an update on milk marketing legislation and a report of the judges conferences held last year with one scheduled for Syracuse in April.
