The Michigan-Indiana Spring Foundation Sale took place Friday, March 23, 2012 at the MSU Pavilion in East Lansing, MI. The sale averaged $2,293 on 104 live lots.

Topping the sale at $16,800 was Lot 76- pick of 8 fresh heifers or cows from a group of sixteen consigned by Daybreak Dairy of Zeeland, MI. The pick was purchased by Kundinger Farms, Sebewaing, MI.

2nd high seller was Lot 3- $3,100. A fresh Design 2-year-old from six generations of VG & EX dams from the Astre Fleece Family. This young cow was consigned by Freisvale Farms, Ontario, Canada and sold to Grant Selking, Covington, LA.

3rd high seller was Lot 1- $3,050 for an Atwood December calf from 9 EX Dams from the Roxy family. Consigned by Winterfield Farm, Wheeler, MI, this calf was sold to David Blough of Goshen, IN.

The Michigan State University Dairy Club was a big help to this sale!

The cattle are in and look great and HolsteinWorld is on the scene! The sale takes place today, March 30th at 10:30 CDT at the Great Northern Sales Arena in Fond du Lac, WI.
