Friday April 13th, the Rickeman family of Hutchinson, MN opened the doors to their newly remodeled barn to Holstein enthusiasts. A recent rain enabled people to shut down the planters to come enjoy a windy day of judging contests, lunch, classification demonstration and door prizes.

New addition to their barn that they added when son Neil returned from college

HolsteinUSA classifier Willis Gunst was on hand to officiate the contest and give a classification demonstration

Part of the expansion included the addition of two calving pens

Floralawn Pronto Devon, scored VG-87 at 2 yr the day before, in total the herd had six new VG 2-year-olds, and 3 new Excellents!
