Northwest Dairy Showcase Sale Averages $2,416

The Northwest Dairy Showcase Sale, sponsored by the Whatcom County Holstein and Jersey clubs, took place on Thursday evening, July 5th and averaged $2,416 on 28 live Holsteins and Jerseys. Five embryo lots averaged $385 per embryo.

Topping the sale at $5,500 was Lot 1 – Westcoast Windbrook Amalee, a 12/11 Windbrook heifer out of Butz-Butler Durham Amy-ET EX-93-CAN, then EX-96 2E Angel and EX-96 2E Ashlyn. Amalee leaves her Westcoast home headed to the LaFollette Holstein herd of John & Joan Judd in Wisconsin.

Lot 3 – Ronelee Manoman Devisha – was 2nd high at $4,700. Devisha is a +2101 GTPI 10/11 Man-O-Man out of a VG-86 Zenith daughter of Ronelee Outside Dabble EX-91 2E GMD DOM – the dam of Domain.
Consigned by Sherman & Jeff Polinder and John Sickleton of Lynden, WA, Devisha will move north of the border as she was purchased by Dick Carlson of BC.

Westcoast Holsteins placed the final $4,600 bid for Lot 14 – Vyecroft Carol Atwood, a 7/10 Atwood due in September to Epic out of a VG-87-CAN Mr Sam then back to the Corry family. Consigned by Vyecroft Holsteins of Rosedale, BC, Carol makes a return trip home to the neighborhood!

Lot 2 – $4,000 – Bradner Goldchip Hailing, a 3/12 Gold Chip out of a VG-86-CAN Advent daughter of Quality-Ridge Stormi Hazel 2E-96

High selling Jersey at $2,800 was Lot 25 – Rocha MVP Genna, a 2-year-old MVP daughter fresh in April out of an EX-92 Chairman dam. Consigned by Cris & Doris Rocha of Tillamook, OR, Genna was purchased by Jerald Visser of Sumas, WA.

2nd high Jersey at $2,750 was Lot 28 – Pacific Pride Humvee Nadine, a 7/11 Gro-Lyn Humvee out of a 83-point Governor dam, back to Waymar Patrick Nadin EX-97 6E.
