International Intrigue Is Gathering Steam!
The fourth edition of the International Intrigue will take place at Butlerview Farm in Chebanse, IL this coming Saturday and the last-minute preparations are underway!

Sale tent is up to the east of the show barn and…it’s air conditioned!
They make lots of calves at Butlerview and here’s where they house them! Rows of calf hutches with heifer barns behind.
A recently completed new heifer barn will house the sale cattle this week and then be utilized to house the high genomic heifers in the program here.

Back at the show barn, some of the big names from the 2012 tanbark make themselves at home. Here is Lot 3 – one of the most talked about cows in the business – Cookview Goldwyn Monique VG-89-CAN – 1st Senior 3-Year-Old at both Quebec and New York Spring Shows this year. She went on to be named Grand Champion at Quebec.
The visitors are making their way to Butlerview already and early yesterday afternoon was a good time to take some of the beauties out of their box stalls and parade them. Here is Lot 2 – Silvermaple Damion Camomile VG-89-CAN – the 2011 All-American and All-Canadian Junior 3-Year-Old!
RockyMountain Gold Winter *RC VG-89-CAN, who sells as Lot 4 in the sale. She was nominated All-American and All-Canadian Senior 3-Year-Old last year and will show as a third-calf 4-Year-Old this fall.
Added entry Lot 147 – Earlen Goldwyn Secret VG-87-CAN – she’s had a busy week! Last Friday, she was named the Grand Champion at the Ontario Summer Show, then hopped on a truck and made her way to Chebanse and will sell in the sale Saturday!
Lot 8 – Cam-Bing Gold Nila-ET VG-88 @ 2-05 – will show as a Junior 3-Year-Old this year. Nila is a maternal sister to EX-96 Bingland Leduc Nancy!
Great cows may come and go at Butlerview…but one thing stays the same: Regancrest S Chassity EX-92 holds down the first box stall in the barn! She looks tremendous and has been enjoying all the attention from visitors this week!
